UCONN Avery Point

A two-time All-American, Wes Firmin played a pivotal role in the Pointers’ success on the hardwood in 1998-99 and 1999-2000. He earned First-Team All-America laurels as a freshman and followed that up with Second-Team honors as a sophomore. Firmin had more than 1,000 points and rebounds during his two years with the Pointers, and his 1,041 career rebounds ranked among the top-10 in NJCAA history at the conclusion of his career. He was inducted into the UConn Avery Point Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.
