Kevin Gilroy made his mark on the UConn Avery Point baseball program in his two seasons with the club. Earning both All-Connecticut Small Conference and All-New England laurels during his time with the Pointers, Gilroy departed as the program’s all-time leader in hits, at bats, singles and walks. He capped his career with 112 hits, 102 runs, 70 RBI and a career on-base percentage of .490. Gilroy was inducted into the UConn Avery Point Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.
