Hall of Fame
Kyle Cummings finished his career at Avery Point as the program’s all-time career and single season hits leader. He was a two-time All-New England performer and earned both All-America and Academic All-America honors as a sophomore. Cummings played a key role in the team’s 2010 run to the NJCAA College World Series Championship round. He continued his collegiate career at Southern Connecticut State, where he helped the team reach the 2011 NCAA Division II College World Series and also was named All-Conference twice. Cummings was inducted into the UConn Avery Point Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
