A workhorse for the 2010 NJCAA Division II College World Series finalist squad, Brett Shulick left UConn Avery Point as the program’s single-season and career wins leader, while also posting the single-season record for innings pitched. Named the Most Valuable Pitcher of the 2010 College World Series, he finished with a 16-3 career record with a 2.49 ERA, 124 strikeouts and 26 walks in 141 innings. Also an All-New England performer during his time with the Pointers, Shulick was inducted into the UConn Avery Point Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.
