Hall of Fame
Desarae Latino Davis spent nearly two decades with the UConn Avery Point athletic department and over a decade as its head athletic trainer. A 1990 graduate of Fitch and a 1994 graduate of UConn, she began her work with the Pointers in 1991. In addition to her contributions at Avery Point, she also served in roles at the United States Coast Guard Academy and Waterford High School. Latino Davis went on to earn her master’s degree in special education from Southern Connecticut State University. She was inducted into the Avery Point Athletic Hall of Fame with the Service Award in 2005.
