The UConn Avery Point basketball team won its 2nd game in a row in dramatic fashion. Trailing one, Sophomore Jaden Walker, drove coast to coast to and hit the layup to put the Pointers up 77-76.

Walker led all scorers with 34. Freshman Louis Howard and sophomore Jeff Souvenance each added 14. The Pointers next take on CCRI in Rhode Island at 6:00PM

The game was the UConn Avery Point annual Go Red for the American Heart Association. Admission was $5 and thanks to a generous donation from Coach Witter and his wife Julie the Pointers donated over $400 to the American Heart Association.
