The UConn Avery Point basketball team improved to 6-9 on the season besting the Mass Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night 68 to 67

Trevor Buchanan (Columbia, CT) led the Pointers with 25 and Freshman Sean Christy (Shelton, CT) added 16. Point Guard Lucas Strain (Griswold, CT) contributed with 6.

 The Pointers already surpassed their win total from last season and will head to Quincy College on Saturday.
