Despite Freshman Trevor Buchanan (Bolton, CT) leading all scorers with 28 and Sophomore, Davon Benjamin (New London, CT) tacking on another 16; the Pointers fell to division rival Community College of Rhode Island by a final score of 87-74. 

The Pointers led for most of the first half, but the Knights continued to chip away and took a small lead into the half-time locker room. Returning from the break the two teams played back and forth but the Pointers were unable to close the gap and suffered the ultimate set back. 

The UConn Avery Point athletics department wishes to thank soph, Davon Benjamin (New London, CT) and Soph, Jose Balseca (New Haven, CT) as they completed their two years and will be moving on at the end of the semester.
