Box Score The Northern Essex Knights galloped past the Avery Point Pointers by a final score of 98-67 on Thursday night in Groton, CT. The Knights who had been receinving votes in the national polls dominated offensively jumping out to a 22 point half time lead.

The Pointers competed until the last minute, but the Knights were too much to handle down the strech. 

Freshman Sean Christy (Shelton, CT) led the offense for the Pointers with 24 and Sophomore Trevor Buchanan (Columbia, CT) continued his offensive onslaught this season chipping in 21. 

Sophomore Lucas Strain (Griswold, CT) provided leadership playing nearly the entire game against a formidable NECC press defense and only had 1 turnover. 

The Pointers will next head to Bristol CC on Tuesday before the Thanksgiving break.
