The UConn Avery Point baseball team erupted for 29 runs on 28 hits Saturday vs Monroe Community College in game 2 of the Sub-District Championship. 

With the Pointers back against the wall, the offense stepped up. led by William Estronza and AJ Montejano with 5 hits each, the Pointers dominated game 2 and earn their spot in the winner take all game Sunday at 1:00P. 

John Bureau added 4 hits and Aaron Lopresto and Jesus Arraez each added 3. Sophomore Jackson Pray started and battled through 6 innings before giving way to freshman Martin Light who closed it out!

The Pointers will be the away team in game 3, and the winner will head to the NJCAA District tournament with the winners of Region 15 and Region 19.
