SCRANTON, Penn. - Avery Point split their double header with Lackawanna College on Sunday. They lost game one 7-6 and won game two 13-5.
Keegan Daigle threw 5 innings in game one, allowing two earned runs on five hits, striking out five batters.
Malcolm Mention and
Tyler Rice each had multi-hit games. Rice drove in four of Avery Point's six runs in the first game.
Cole Forcellina collected the win in game two allowing five runs in five innings.
Bobby Lasbury threw two scoreless innings while striking out three batters.
Riley Carew and
Hunter Peszynski were both 2-4 at the plate with two RBI. Zach Mascaro had a base-clearing three RBI triple to break the game open.
Avery Point plays at Community College of Rhode Island Tuesday, April 4th. Their record is now 11-6 on the season.
