N.Y. - Avery Point split their doubleheader with Rockland Community College. They lost the first game 4-2 and won the second 18-6.
Tyler Rice and Malcom Mention each collected a hit in game one. Mention also stole a base in the game.
In game two,
Liam Chamberlain earned his first win throwing five innings and striking out five. Zach Mascaro was 3-5 at the plate with a home run, five RBI and two stolen bases.
Andrew Lozier was 3-5 with a home run and four RBI.
Avery Point improves to 10-5 on the season. They play Lackawanna College at Scranton High School Sunday April 2nd.
