UConn Avery Point Baseball defeated CCBC-Catonsville by a score of 5-2, improving to 6-2 on the season.

Alex Mach was the winning pitcher going seven innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out nine batters. Mach is now 2-0 on the season. Cole Forcellina earned the save.

Vance Ward was 2-4 with with two RBI on the day including a double and stolen base. Jaden Echevarria was 2-5 with two RBI and a double.

UCAP plays a doubleheader against CCBC-Dundaulk on Thursday, 3/16 with the first pitch at 12 p.m.
