Box Score A grueling contest and overtime led to limited players on the court. The Pointers scored 81 and finished the 5th quarter with 3 players on the court. Bunker Hill who got in foul trouble early finished with 78 points and the game was called when the Bulldogs had only 1 remaning eligible player.
Freshman Natalie Williams scored 48 of the teams points in her first ever collegiate game. Freshman
Monet Augmon contributed 21 to the total. Scoring was rounded out with Freshman
Ava Collins scoring 11 and Sam Post hitting a key free-throw for her lone point of the game. Senior
Natalie Edwards added 5 to the total. Edwards at the age of 44 outlasted most on the court, scoring her first points of the season, capping of a remarkable win, and a remarkable story!
The Pointers next play the Senators of Ulster County, tip off is Saturday at Noon.
